=💡 The Sheet Tip (Automatic naming 🤖)
Have you ever opened up a colleague’s spreadsheet, or even your own spreadsheet, and become frustrated with trying to track all the formulas and ranges to figure out what is going on? You’re not alone. Not only is this time-consuming, but it can often result in mistakes.
In order to simplify your spreadsheets for you and others, did you know you can name cells and ranges which helps to improve the usability and traceability of errors? Not only can you name cells, but if set up correctly, excel can automatically name cells for you!

Not convinced? Here are 3 reasons why automatically naming cells in Excel is useful:
Enhanced Readability: Cell names provide a descriptive and meaningful representation of the data they contain, making it easier to understand and interpret formulas and calculations.
Improved Formula Maintenance: When you use named ranges in formulas, it becomes easier to update and modify your worksheets. If the range or cell location changes, you only need to update the name reference once, rather than updating multiple formulas.
Clarity and Accuracy: Named cells reduce the chances of errors in your formulas. By using descriptive names, you can avoid confusion and ensure that you are referencing the correct cells consistently.
